I moved to Vermont after an aborted year at college in Westerville Ohio. I finally found my vocation in life and complete nursing school at the age of 28. I have been an RN in Rutland VT in the intensive care unit ever since. I have a small farm and care for sheep and goats, geese, guinea hens and a dog and cat. I am a hand spinner and make and sell yarn and fleece for handspinners. Believe me, my day job is what pays for the farm, but the farm is my therapy, getting me outside in the winter when the weather is blustery, and temps are below zero. Or in the summer when the beauty of VT is around me and the weather is sublime.

For anyone who wonders I have never married and I am still 6 ft 1 inch tall. I am amazed at how the time flies.
