This is Keith’s brother and best friend, Kevin, talking. We were each other’s best man at our weddings. Keith married Mary Jo and had one daughter, Stephanie. He lived with his family on the edge of Mt. Echo Park, which was his backyard. Keith loved nature and enjoyed life. He understood tears of joy and compassion for all others. He died on June 30, 2009 from cancer of the lungs after about six months of treatment. He knew he would die a few months beforehand and had loving medical care. Having been born December 14, 1952, he was 56 at his death. He contributed to the cultural enrichment of his community and had an excellent work ethic. The unqualified love of our parents remained a beacon throughout our lives, as our birth wound gave us empathy for the plight of others. May this light ever shine!
