After graduation I worked as a newspaper reporter for several papers in Indiana and South Carolina before joining the Cincinnati Post in 1981. I was a reporter, Statehouse bureau chief and an editor there until it folded in 2007. Taught as an adjunct for a bit at UC, then took a job at Cincinnati State. Now retired, widower, two kids.
